This project took 8 days to complete from bush removal to dirt work and mulch and replanting of plants, bushes, trees and boulders. Jim(the owner) went over price options and was great to deal with. The guys who did the actual work were amazing. Leanne brought books full of every type plants to help us decide what would look best in all the planting areas. We couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anyone.

Met with us and walked through plant selection keeping in mind our yard layout/sunshine and level of maintenance expertise (not high). Impressed with her knowledge of what works best in a PNW landscape design. Just a great partner through the process.
Jovanny and the rest of the on-site team were also really awesome. They were super professional, careful, worked really quickly and tidied up every night before they left. I always felt like there were looking after the yard and homesite here like it was their own. Impressed that they went the extra mile on the gate and fixing a few odd things that popped up. Pathway on the side of the house looks great, nice and level, no wobbles and curves perfectly. Jovanny also took the time to answer my (probably dumb) questions and explain what the work entailed each day. Great crew and would have them back anytime.
Your irrigation specialist, Justin, also did a great job. He explained how everything worked, was super professional and careful with good attention to detail.
All around, we’re super happy. The end result is awesome and we’re already planning things we want to do in the new yard come spring and summer next year. We’ve already had a few neighbors inquire about work so we’ve passed along your info (and told them to move fast since it sounds like you are booking up)!

Knowledgeable, creative, trustworthy, flexible, responsive, professional, friendly are just a few words to describe the folks at RL. We could not fully imagiine what thefinal product would look like. We put our trust in them, and when they delivered, they delivered far beyond what we'd imagined it would be. The entire experience was easy and stress free. The transformation of our property has not only made the outside space more usable and beautiful, but we can tell you that it has injected us with renewed energy and and a feeling of joy every time we walk outside. The crew was the best. The designer, Tehia, is down to earth, a great listerner, and extremely knowledgeable. The guys that came out to do the hard work were friendly, responsive to questions, focused, professional, and left no doubt that they knew their what they were doing.

We had a great experience! The crew was on time every day, polite and responsive to our needs and concerns, and was willing to work with our ideas. The scope of our project was too large to do in one year so we had the crew back the following summer to connect the new upper patio to the lower one by means of a staircase designed with the same material and a dry riverbed on the east side of our home. It looks better now than I ever imagined it could. We would have them back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Jim and Crew!!

We have used Reynold’s Landscaping for outdoor projects since we bought our first home in Redmond in 1996. Now we live in Woodinville, and we keep going back because not only is Jim and his team professional, personable, and easy to work with, but the quality of the work cannot be beaten! Jim has the ability to visualize the finished product during the design phase. For example, I did not think there was any way we would be able to create a “room-like feel” in our vast backyard by installing a lower flagstone patio with a stone fire pit, surrounded by beautiful beds with boulders. But that is exactly how it turned out — a gorgeous outdoor gathering spot that is well-defined but blends perfectly with the surrounding lawn and trees. He does amazing things!

Jim and his team did a fabulous job transforming our entire property. We inherited ivy, over grown laurels, dead shrubs, and fairly steep slopes when we purchased our home 7 years ago. We’ve always struggled with the space and as our kids got older really wanted a place for them to run and play at home (all the more critical with COVID restrictions). Jim listened to our wants and needs from the space and completely transformed the entire property! It has something for everyone, a pea patch, fire pit, and long sloping lawns, all accented with beautiful craftsmanship from his team and their artistic skills to turn our vision into reality. We can’t say enough great things about how it was to work with Jim and his team! We will enjoy our space for years to come!

Jim and his entire crew are abosolutely top-notch – Angie's List Grade 'A'!
The short version:Jim and his entire crew (office, design, and landscape/implementation) are absolutely top-notch. We did a pretty thorough overhaul of our entire yard which included new concrete patios/walkways, a boulder-strewn courtyard, and some gorgeous vegetable beds in a very non-traditional area. Throughout the entire process, we felt comfortable with Jim's knowledge, his professionalism, and his ability to direct a crew and other subs. They were on-time, on-budget and everyone we dealt with was friendly, fun, professional, and hard-working. We really can't recommend them enough, and most importantly, we trust them. I would hire Reynolds Landscape again in an instant and have been telling all my friends about their work.
Long version: My husband and I can't say enough great things about Reynolds Landscaping. We just finished a complete remodel of the interior and exterior of our home using many different contractors, and Jim's outfit was far and away the most professional, courteous, and reliable of the bunch. When we set out to have our landscaping revived we didn't know anyone in the industry. We were really taking a chance based on reviews, and we're SO glad we did.
Jim responded to our online query immediately and set up a meeting with us to talk about our needs. He was clearly knowledgeable about plants and hardscape options and suggested a lot of great ideas right off the bat. We had some definite ideas as well concerning the usability and layout of our property, and Jim listened closely and checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was on track.
They scheduled us for late August and actually started early. They were realistic with us about the timeline, and we were so appreciative of that. They stayed on time and the crew communicated with us all along the way to make sure we knew what was happening next. Speaking of the crew - the foreman was AMAZING! Clearly takes a lot of pride in his work, and he's also great about communicating changes and asking questions to make sure we were in lockstep on the design throughout the entire project. The entire crew was at our house early every single day. We truly felt like we were being made a priority. They were also all very nice and fun to talk to, and our neighbors both commented on how courteous The Reynolds' crew were in terms of parking their vehicles.
Jim was great about the budget as well - he was transparent the entire way through and really listened to us when we were explaining our priorities for the space. He never got us to try to spend more and was great at offering up alternatives or giving us the benefit of his knowledge regarding where we could likely get away with spending less.
After starting the project, it became clear that there are a ton of variables to think about when creating a beautiful landscape. Jim, Wilmer, and the crew stay very flexible and it's obvious that their experience and knowledge are critical to tackling any design challenges (while keeping in mind the timeline and priorities) that crop up while the project is underway. With the rest of the subcontractors working on my house, I felt like I had to micromanage every single move and get ahead of every single thing that could go wrong. With Jim and Wilmer I didn't have to do that. They inspired me to trust in their judgment and they made the right choice, every time, for our property.
Simply put: Jim Reynolds and his crew are good, trustworthy people doing beautiful, quality work within realistic budgets and timelines. This is a really hard combination to find and we feel really lucky to have found it in Reynolds Landscape. Keep up the great work, guys!
